Artists Statement

1964. A muddy back lot in a blue collar neighborhood on the east end of Winnipeg. Behind the shadows cast by the sun’s glare, in my eyes, it’s already beginning to take hold;

Whiskey and cigarettes. Work hard, play hard. Think for yourself. Tattoos. Long hair. Motorcycles. Rock and roll. Don’t start a fight, but if you get in one - finish it. Be tough. Be tough. Be tough.
